The Rajas - She Does it Right

The Rajas, consisting of Nigel Winfield, Richard Wilson, Darren guy have been performing and recording cover versions of classic rock and roll tracks for years. A couple of the band are also involved with other projects and bands, with music and performing at the centre of their worlds. “She Does it Right” originally recorded by Dr Feelgood in 1974 (released in 75), failed to reach the UK singles chart. We can’t understand why... Here’s The Rajas version...

The Rajas - What's So Funny...

Here we have another cover from The Rajas of Nick Lowe’s 1974 classic ‘What’s so funny (‘bout peace, love and understanding)’ probably better remembered by Elvis Costello’s version in 1979. With Dave Edmunds producing Nick Lowe’s version, and Nick Lowe producing Elvis Costello’s version, you can see where the Rajas get their influences from throughout their music.

Megan McKenna - You're not Sorry

Megan McKenna appeared as a semi finalist on Britain’s Got Talent a couple years ago (2009) and has been a member of the girl band LOLA (from the TV show “The Only way is Essex”) before stepping out on her own. Megan’s Mum, Tania, approached the studios to see if we could help in producing some demo songs for Megan’s repertoire.
We think Megan’s version of Taylor Swift’s “You’re Not Sorry” is excellent. She certainly has the talent to carry off this great cover. Hope you like it.

Megan McKenna - Unfaithful

Here’s Megan’s version of Rihanna’s “Unfaithful”. We think Megan has the potential to make a great singer as she has a great voice. Just hope she remembers us when she’s rich and famous!

Megan McKenna - Jar of Hearts

Here’s Megan’s excellent version of Christina Perri’s ‘Jar of Hearts’. Hope you like it.
